Dojo's in Johnston is AWESOME. They have great teachers and they are very energetic with the kids. We love how positive the teachers are. Plus, we've experienced great communication to the Parents on any upcoming events. They also provide the kids with great core values/life lessons that they can develop themselves outside of karate. We have enjoyed our time there thus far. Our kids love and can't wait to go back. Our oldest has gained more confidence in her Decision-Making skills and our youngest has shown great strength in her Focus Abilities. Thank you for all your help Dojo's.

This place is amazing what they can do with kids!!! My son who had anger issues last yr is a thing of the past. This yr since we have joined he has focus, making good choices. He has been praised with school officials for his accomplishments . I owe it all to this place and how they can make a difference in a child's life. Thank you so much.

I really like this place.nnThe instructor is very enthusiastic with the kids in a way that keeps their attention, makes them want to push harder, and show up again and again. Over time, these are the things that build skill and character be it in your children or even in you.nnThis school has been a great physical outlet for my kids. I’ve also seen big changes in their attention, confidence, and body awareness over a short period of time. For example, my older son never really understood putting his weight into things, but figured it out during a self defense lesson, and now he can really push hard.nnI’ve seen multiple instructors change tactics until the right technique for the child is found. For example, in some of the earlier classes my kids were struggling with their kicks until an instructor ran over and pulled out a target for them and only them to hit.nnThey talk each class about being a good person, confident, and respecting mom and dad. The kids learn self defense, and the importance of not bullying.

My son who is 4 just started at Dojo’s in Johnston. As parents we have loved the values they are teaching him. We’ve noticed better focus and confidence in just a few short weeks. He’s even jumped in to help with the dishes several times after talking about it in class. 10/10 recommend for kids any age!

Highly recommend Dojo’s. Three of our kids have taken up karate and we have been blown away by how much fun they are having along with tremendous growth in self confidence. By far the best staff we have ever seen in any sport. Any child would benefit from class. We tried the free class and so happy we did.
