I go here often to play volleyball with my son... We enjoy it...
Great fun but closed this summer
My grandson had a wonderful time at this park from the spaceship shaped gym equipment change the splash pad. I did notice during our stay there that for about the first half of our stay that okay there are periods of time that parents show up and just let their kids run like terrorists and do not parent them. That's the reason I gave four stars I know it's not the parks fault but it is something parents have to deal with when they're there
The splash pad is awesome. Because Union Park is rolling acres after rolling acres, the park can have 1,000 people and yet still seem empty and quiet. The splash pad itself is huge and just deep enough for all ages to enjoy. There is a public restroom, drinking fountain, pavilion, parking, shade, hard seating, two full parks (not counting the rocket slide), and Tennis courts.nnThe splash pad is kept chlorinated (thank you) and it is a hot. For free.
Awesome one of the cooler places to go in the summer for a quick dip for your kids what's the park adjacent to it is cool
