The quality of this park and marina are far and above the surrounding areas. The staff is well managed and the grounds are well kept. The beach is freshly tilled frequently. Shelters are I'm good condition and high in number. I recommend this location for all of your next events.
Located right next door to the Big creek marina and the beach are 3 pretty fantastic large open air shelter houses and a large wooden playground system. Each shelter house has their own bathroom and would be perfect for events or gatherings. There are 9 smaller picnic shelters just off the edge of the beach all including a couple picnic tables each. There are multiple picnic tables scattered around the area and seems to always be plenty of space to sit. The playground is pretty fantastic and kids love all the details and hidden areas. There are drinking water fountains at each bathroom and a couple on the edge of the beach. The fountains on the edge incorporate a foot washing fountain as well to clean the sand from the beach off yourself. All in all a great family area.
