Good quality service

I called Midwest Lock and asked about a replacement ignition key for my car. I was told that they could either make a key like the original (which has buttons that lock and unlock the door, unlock the trunk, and a panic button), or a simple key that just unlocks and starts the car. I didn't know that a simpler key was available, but it was a little less expensive so I asked them to order the simple key for me. When the key arrived, they cut it and configured it in a few minutes. I paid $80.00 before tax. So far, so good. However, sometimes when I unlocked the car, the car alarm went off. I called the store, and was told this was my fault, that I should have done my research on the key. Since Midwest Lock is supposed to be an expert in this sort of thing, and because they presented the simple key as an option, I believe it was up to them to tell me that it might set off the alarm.nnIn an attempt to be reasonable, I asked if I could get some discount if I ordered a key with buttons. The person on the phone told me that wasn't possible because the key had already been cut. This doesn't seem reasonable because the key didn't cost them $80, the $80 includes both cost and profit.nnSuffice it to say that I won't be doing business with them again.
