There's a friend of mine that works at this location. She went to the hospital she had a removable cast up to her thigh. And wasn't supposed to work but they told her she had to find her own replacement or she was fired. By having her stay family Dollar will be responsible for any injury that occurs from here because she shouldn't even be working. Sound like to me very bad place to work.
I feel like this is a best place for shopping,with kind employees,all little things you can find there
The workers are very helpful. They have a variety of things to check out. And you really cant beat there prices. I have had no problems rather that be a helping hand carrying stuff out to my car or just needing help finding the things I need around there store.
I went to the Family Dollar at 2410 Hickman Road in Des Moines IA and was threatened by David that if I didn't take my service dog out of the store he would remove me and was coming toward me in a very threatening manner. I told him that it is against the law to deny access and he didn't listen to anything I had to say. He told the cashier not to assist me with my return even though I had my receipt unless I took my service dog out of the store. She (the cashier) came out and apologized for the way he treated me. she said she had only been there for a couple of days and didn't want to lose her job. She even looked at the company poster in the window of the store and knew he was in the wrong. It was a very upsetting experience that I won't repeat.
