Cottonwood Recreation Area Shelter 6

Nice riverside park with several shelters, playgrounds, sand volleyball courts, and a fishing pier.

Very satisfied with the staff caring for this area! They stopped by while we were setting up for our event to explain that they would stop by every once in awhile to see how things were going and haul trash away. They came by a few times during the event and were helpful in providing extra garbage bags. Extremely friendly! Shelter 6 was a great spot; near the playground and bathrooms and plenty of open, flat area to play games.

Great place for family events. Not the greatest for fishing from shore. They dont maintain the grounds very well.

Nice shelter houses, well mowed, clean restrooms, great for family get together or company picnic. Shelter house with electric and water. Has grills and a fireplace. Playground for small kids and sand volleyball, nice big open area for anything else. Camp attendants were very nice and helpful.

Great family spot..very clean restrooms.nAnd patrolled regularly!
