I needed to buy a few shirts and maybe order a suit, so I hit up Men’s Warehouse in Ankeny over my lunch break. When I arrived Robin was very friendly and helpful, got me measured for a shirt and had me try it on. I needed a slightly larger neck and Robin was speaking to another customer when I came out of the dressing room, so he ask Mike to give me a hand. Mike seemed inconvenienced by having to help me, but told me he would grab me a larger shirt, however, I was not allowed to try it on. I was there to buy multiple shirts and have them tailored. Hard to have shirt tailored if you can’t first try it on to see what needs adjusted. I did not want to further inconvenience Mike and Robin was still busy, so I told Mike thank you anyway and left. Mike was perfectly content to watch me walk out the door. I’m not sure if it was my jeans and boots or my old sweatshirt and ball cap that lead Mike to believe I couldn’t afford the service I was looking for.
We had an okay experience with the Men’s Warehouse in Ankeny, IA - we rented our grooms mans’ tuxes from them. Our rentals did come in on time; however, 2 of our groomsmans’ pants were way too short. Unfortunately, these 2 were both from out of town, so they didn’t have a chance to try them on ahead of time, so we had to scramble last minute and fix the pants on our own and they didn’t look great. I just don’t really understand how that part can be messed up when you take specific measurements of the guys, and their measurements haven’t changed in the past three months since they were measured. The staff is nice there, but the whole experience would’ve been much better had everything fit correctly.
was fitted for my first suit here. the gentle man that helped me was very nice he explained how the suit should fit and what alterations need to be made like shortening the sleeves and trouser legs. Will defiantly be back when I need a new suit.
Jessie was incredibly helpful! Came in looking for a suit that I had seen at another location and while they didn't carry it, she let me know where I may find it and even measured me so I knew my size. Great customer service, I'll be sure to come back to that location.
It's a great place to do business with and they have a great start to help you with all your needs nice and clean store you will like all the choices to choose from .
