They now require you to go in and prepay for fuel, they say that's only for cards with less than $125 dollars on them. I tried this with a prepaid card with $250 and also a credit card so that's clearly not the case. I then went out and kept trying with just my credit card. I was able to get it to go through but then the cashier cut the gas off and said over the loudspeaker that I had to go up and pre-pay. Cashier was very rude. Went to Casey's after with no problems.nSomething really fishy is going on here.
Lowest gas prices in town. They give extra discount if you purchase from Fleet Farm. Staff is very nice and courteous. Fuel islands are clean and well stocked up with windscreen cleaning accessories. Convenience stores has lot of options to eat and drink. Clean washroom. 24/7 service. They also sell Kerosene oil.
This place is a God send...As of Aug 2020, this place is the MECCA of best cost gas in all of Iowa! I wish all cities and gas stations around Ankeny would take a lesson from Fleet Farm. Pumps are accessible even if u r pulling a trailer. And anyone can buy gas from there. Love the gas station...love the franchise store.
My credit card wouldn't work at the pump told me to see the cashier so I did what a big mistake. Snotty little blond cashier with a major attitude problem shouldn't even be working there. Major attitude problem. 4 foot tall maybe 16 years old. Gas is cheaper at Sams Club by 10 cents a gallon. I will probably go there next time. I don't need the attitude problems. 5-2-2020 6:20 pm.
Gas pumps are open 24hrs x 7. Pay@pump with credit card. Clean and well lit. After closing, area is unattended secluded.
