Toured with a small group and found the docent to be very knowledgeable and helpful and willing to look up info on questions she didn't know offhand. The home is beautiful and although the tour is short, it's well worth it. Lots of unique history behind this governor's mansion!

My nieces took my sister and me to a tea today at Terrace Hill. It was a lovely time.

$5 donation for adults / $2.50 donation for kids 12 or younger. Tours are about an hour long. Includes short video on history of Terrace Hill and tour of first first 2 floors. Our your guide was very engaging and funny. Would recommend for anyone who wants to learn more about Iowa's history.
