So far so good! They seem to have really good cleaning and distancing protocols in place for COVID-19, so my daughter and I feel safe going there to workout for now. The staff is SO friendly, really impressive. We've had a great experience so far and I have found it to be an excellent value and addition to our lives.

When I first signed up I was very happy with the service, when COVID hit I was fine with the gym closing down for a while and understood that it was needed, now that it has reopened the rules have changed and they changed their service terms to require everyone to wear a mask. I asked since they changed the terms if they were going to allow members to cancel their memberships without penalty, the manager said no, only that we could put our membership on hold....again. I was willing to keep a membership to help the local business, but how many times are they going to keep members out and offer no real solutions? I would not recommend this gym, there is never a coherent policy and then if if you want out because of the changing rules you are denied unless you pay.

I went to the Urbandale location and I appreciate how clean everything was, there were cleaning stations everywhere . The staff were definitely taking initiative to make sure everyone was taken care of. The equipment worked great!

West Des Moines Planet Fitness is Horrible:n# Front Desk Staff service are Rude, no respect, no greeting,n#staff are mood off, angry and bullying members:n#Dirty and dusty, no equipments maintenance etc.n# Staff are using cell phone not answering issues of members.nNote: Better to go nice gym and pay more, we member deserve it:nI do not recommend any families, friends and neighbors to come this miserable GYM.
