Wolin Mechanical Electrical

This doesn't have to do with my direct interaction with this company, but the actions of some of it's employees. I was getting some breakfast at McDonald's (on E 14th.) one of your vans and two employees ordered ahead of me. They had a large order which isn't a problem and isn't why this was such a rude interaction, the fact that when asked to just move up to one of the first parking pick up spots so they could be brought their order when completed, and people with smaller orders ( like myself and the 3 other people behind me) could get their food, the two employees refused to move. I just wanted to let you know how your employees are acting and while this is not a catastrophic incident, it is however very bad looking for your company as a whole because how many other rude and inconsiderate things are your employees doing while riding around with your name branded on their vehicles?

I was referred to Wolin Electric through the electricians hiring hall. I went in there and spent 1 1/2 hours filling out paperwork. Then I was led through a large and freezing shop to attend a safety orientation. All around, boys in heavy winter clothes were racing around stocking shelves. I've never before seen a shop that wasn't heated. I realized Wolin leadership were of an unusually stingy bent.nnThe safety instructor was likable. After the orientation I was sent out to the lobby again to meet Paul Robertson, who I realized was most likely one of the stingy ones. He looked at me owlishly and asked where I was from. He wouldn't accept my negative drug test because it had been done the previous week. He did not give me the option of taking another test. He just said he could tell I was on drugs and refused to hire me. He declined to sign the referral, like the hall requires in these cases, so he could get out of paying 2 hours show up time. He's had the same call in the hall for 2 weeks for help, but evidently all the local electricians know to steer clear.nnKnow that if you invite this odd and unscrupulous contractor onto your job, you are not going to be able to predict what corners they will cut to ensure for themselves a fat profit. If they treat their employees as dirt, they probably see customers as sheep to be fleeced.
