Ok
I don’t know why basic customer service or friendliness is such a challenge these days. I walked into the store (thinking it was open later than it actually was) and I saw several associates standing around by the front door. I was expecting or hoping for a nice, welcome or greeting. Instead the first woman immediately shouted, “You have 3 minutes!!!” I didn’t say a word back, but I immediately turned and walked out. When I worked in retail, we had to wait for customers to find everything they needed before we could go- even if it was an hour or two after close. We were not allowed to tell customers that we were closing soon, or that we were closed- that would have been a fire-able offense. So glad I decided to make my larger purchases elsewhere tonight. Management clearly doesn’t have a clue here.
