Reviews
I signed up for the 6-week challenge at Elite Edge Altoona to get a jump-start on my fitness goals and after hearing good reviews from family. Their classes are different every time, challenging, fast-paced and well suited for beginners as well as experts. Morgan and Hunter were amazing instructional coaches. While I had my reservations about working out at a gym during a pandemic, the safety precautions taken at the facility made me feel comfortable. The meal-prep helped me learn portion control and developed a healthy routine. Now, I do believe that more than half of the weight loss happens in the kitchen. Although the 6-week program was both physically and mentally challenging but also rewarding in the end. The staff and coach are supportive and create a positive atmosphere to work out.
I just finished my 6-week challenge at Elite Edge Altoona and reached my goal by losing over 20 lbs. Running has been a part of my daily routine for the last year but I knew that I needed to do something different to help me lose some added pounds and get in better shape. Elite Edge Transformation works and helped me do just that!nI will be honest, I worried about the meal plan as that is usually the hardest part for me. After the first week, I felt like 6 weeks was going to be an eternity but I got into a routine, explored some variations in my meals and fell into sync with eating every 3 hours. For me, I like most of the options on the meal plan and I just made sure to meal prep every couple days and plan ahead. It really wasn’t hard to follow and I can proudly say I did not “cheat” throughout the 6 weeks.nAs far as workouts, I LOVE that the workouts are never the same, are always tough, and have a lot of great variety in the types of exercises and the equipment used. Since I signed up right before the pandemic closed the gym, I signed up for the online option due to capacity limitations and my schedule but I was able to do the workouts on my own and modify them to my limited equipment. Even though I wasn’t in the gym, I still felt the accountability and push from my coach, Cole. I appreciate all of his support and encouragement throughout the challenge.nThe Elite Edge Transformation works but it isn’t easy and it takes dedication and determination but it is worth it! This transformation has motivated my entire family to get more active and focused on eating healthier and getting more active and fit!
This was my second challenge with Elite Edge in Altoona. It has been an experience that has been just as good as the first one. The support that you receive through Elite Edge from coaches and peers is phenomenal and so are the work outs. I do not base my decision or review on whether or not I met my goal of 20 pounds but the coaches really work with you to develop a plan so that you are able to reach your goals. The coaches are also efficient at ensuring that you get the most out of your workout and that you are doing the exercises correctly and safely. Can’t wait to continue my journey as an Elite Edge challenger.
I just finished my 6 week challenge and I am very pumped to have met my goal. I chose the 7% body fat loss and I ended with a 7.4% loss and 12 lbs lighter.nI really felt the key was both my change in eating habits along with the workouts. It was tough, but after getting thru that first week, I really looked forward to going and getting a good workout in. I was very new to all of this, and the coaches were great to show me how to do the exercises and helped me with my form. I would definitively recommend trying a 6 week challenge. It changes the way you feelnAbout yourself, and pushes you to do more than you think you can. Seeing the end results proves to you that you CAN DO THIS!
This was a great experience for me to jump start my fitness goals the trainers and coaches were awesome and were there if you had questions. The workouts were great and fun. They could be tailored to the beginners or the advanced, and the coaches would show you how to do them if you didnt know what to do. It was a great atmosphere .
