16 softball fields. Two consessions stands. There are a few playgrounds. Great for softball. Not great for much else.
Very clean and spacious park. Mostly a sports complex for softball. There are two kid play parks and few trees. Very south end of town. Overall great place for a picnic!
I really enjoy walking around the park. Getting to watch softball and the occasional kids playing on the equipment. I walk my dogs around the ball diamonds several times a day.
One of the best softball complexes in the state. Lots of green space, and now that the trees have gotten more mature there is ample shade in earshot of most diamonds. Always well maintained by the GF Park District.nnAt one time this was the largest softball complex in the nation with 16 diamonds separated into 2 - S-shaped halves.
