Bank Forward

Don't waste your time here. I banked here for a long time but left two years ago due to convenience with my joint account with my fiance. I came back after issues with the new bank about a month and a half ago. Within the first week my account was frozen because I ordered a subscription box out of Ireland and apparently ordering overseas is fraudulent. The automated call didn't fix it like it was supposed to and I had to wait till Monday to get it straightened out.nnNow I tried to deposit a check through the mobile banking app. You have to get approval to even use mobile banking but that apparently does NOT give you access to all the mobile app functions. I need approval again to make a deposit. They do not inform you of this when you ask to set up mobile banking. I called the bank to see if they could approve it faster since I need this in today and don't get off work till 5:30. They told me they'd take care of it. Then another employee called back and told me that I can't do it because I haven't had my account for 90 days. When asked what that had anything do with my deposit I was told it was due to fraud protection. I don't know how making a deposit can possibly be fraud but there you go.nnWhen I told them that I've never experienced fraud protection to such an extreme and that it is preventing me from accessing my account properly he was completely unsympathetic. I now have to have my fiance come home for lunch so I can make this deposit (they claim to have night deposits but I've never seen it functional). My next check will go to opening a new account at a new bank. I'm good with fraud protection but it shouldn't prevent me from using my account. I don't know what happened to this bank in the two years I was gone that turned it into a paranoid cellblock but I'm absolutely not impressed. Please take your accounting needs elsewhere.
