Grape Escape Winery

Wineries are normally overbearingly pretentious, with fancy words and trite overplayed descriptions of their uniqueness. Grape Escape doesn't claim that particular snobbery, instead focusing on real flavors and connections. Rod is proud of his craft and willing to spend hours answering the most trivial questions about everything Iowa-vineyard-related, including what that random bottle of yellow stuff is for (spoiler alert: quality testing). He's retired, ready to enjoy life, but still making amazing non-sickly-sweet wines for the likes of this world traveler. Rileigh Red, I love you and can't wait to taste you soon.

Best wine I've ever tasted... Plus you can sit outside and enjoy the view with your wine

I came to this winery a few years back with my family and we really enjoyed all of the wines that we tried and they have a beautiful venue with lots of room to play yard games and enjoy music. They also had food to purchase and a really nice area outdoors to eat and sip your wine.

All sites indicate open til 5pm. All doors locked no one around.
