This is an old fashioned barber shop. It's like walking back in time. This is the place if you want a great cut. My family has gone here for years. We have never had a bad experience and Jim is the nicest guy. I know the guy with the bad review must have been super rude to ever push a guy like Jim's buttons. I am sure if they were that rude to me, they wouldn't like my reaction either. He seriously is one of the kindest people I know. Plus you get an awesome cut. :)

Jim is a lovely guy his prices are reasonable for the things he can do when it comes to haircuts.
A little too rich for mt blood. 20 bucks for a quick head shave..Maybe if the atmosphere was kool but 20 bucks per kid....My wife wont go back her words were that guy is a D***. So might want too come down on the Des Moines haircut rates or the Big City Attitude.
