Closed and locked their doors in my face almost fifteen minutes before the closing time stated on their doors and website. All I had to do was pick up a few things for a displaced family in my neighborhood. I usually love this store and would always speak very highly in the past.nBut that, quite honestly, is a nasty way to treat a community in a time of disparity like this. Unwelcoming and unprofessional. Not sure I’ll come back, and can’t say I’d speak highly of this place either.nn2 stars because I liked them before and could have possibly been new management or something? But everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt & a second chance.nnEdit: Down to 1 star. I went and tried again with an open mind. I didn’t interact with the employees but I overheard them speaking with other customers, and they were just not very kind at all. It really isn’t hard to be friendly.

Found a book with 4 records in it and it was priced at 1.99. Took it up to the counter and the lady said that she would have to check on the price and I told her they are all priced like that. She refused and still went to the back. She came back without it and said they had to “reprice it” and they wouldn’t let me buy it. VERY disappointed. I told her to just go reprice all the other ones as well. Here’s a thought, if you have something for sale, don’t price it wrong before hand and then say it’s repriced and you don’t let the customer buy it. If you go to this store beware!!!! This may happen with any item!!!!

Seems like prices are up there quite a bit for a donation based second hand store during this turable pandemic we are having. But I did find a desk lamp

It’s a hit and miss in this store. Depending on who is marking the prices. But the last several visits to this store have proven disappointing. For example I saw a partial roll of ribbon marked at $6! It should have been 10-25 cents. All the items are donated and are not reflected in the pricing. I’ve spoken to staff about it more than once. If you want to move merchandise, then price it that way. Most items are way overpriced and that’s sad bc that’s not what the store is supposed to be about.nA few years ago my husband and I dropped off many nice items where the downtown store used to be. When we drove away, we saw one of their employees loading up her car with many of the items we’d just dropped off. Hope she’s not still employed there.
