I have been shopping at Von Maur since I was a teenager. I can't remember ever having a bad experience there. I even worked there for a period of time during college. Even though their return policies have become more restricted recently they are still very generous. The general attitude of treating shoppers as guests rather than customers definitely makes the place feel very welcoming. When many other department stores seem to have lowered their standards regarding staff and the quality of products they carry Von Maur has always remained at the top.
Always like strolling thorough and seeing new items
my daughter and i have shopped in the Coralville store twice the past 2 weeks. The 2 people working in the juniors department were not helpful, did not greet us or even say hi. They were to wrapped up in their conversation to help us. I'm sorry but when you are spending over a $100 for 2 items both trips, you could be a little more helpful and pleasant. I am only giving 3 stars due to help from Kismet in the make up section. She pointed us to face masks and was very helpful!
The store and restrooms are very clean. The sales women were very helpful.
