Broadstar Financial. Spam company that sends fake checks in the mail to entice you to open it. If you have to resort to tricks to get your advertisrment letter opened, why would anyone want to do business with this type of shady company?nReceive at least one mail piece a week from them.
I received a letter from this company stating I was pre-approved for a debt consolidation loan.nAfter spending time on the phone several times over several days I am told that my debt could be settled with my creditors. Then even though I explained that this is not what I wanted, they still tried to push me to settle with my creditors. I'm not trying to get out of my bills, just the higher interest rates.nnTHIS IS A DEBT SETTLEMENT COMPANY NOT A DEBT CONSOLIDATION LOAN COMPANY.nnSo after wasting my time and placing an inquiry on my credit report, which drops your score, I find out this is a debt settlement program.nnI can't speak for their debt settlement program.nnThank you for your false advertising and wasting my time.
