Nice people, nice place, fast unloading.
Really fast unloading. Dead zone for data needed for Qualcomm, fyi.
Out of all the chemical companies I've driven for, and I've driven for quite a few, Winfield is the best of those I've driven for. You get lots of over time, which is critical because unless you get overtime working seasonal hazmat jobs, it doesn't pay to even bother to drive hazmat trucks. They are the most advanced technologically. They are way ahead of the other companies in electronic logs and other systems. The other companies have yet to catch up with them. Management, except for one, was really above average and good to work for. They're salaries need to be brought up to date. Their equipment is the good-way better than the equipment I've driven for other companies. Best thing is that they are a fairly large company that has long daily routes that really take you far out, which is great. The location is bright and very clean and ultra modern. Not old and run down like a few of the other places I've worked over the years. Their season is fairly long and you can save up some money if you get work the over time hours. The cons are that they are seasonal, no benefits, no bonuses.
