Came into Pancheros right around Dinner and I waited a while to get my food because they only had 3 young gentlemen working during Dinner rush. Even so I’m writing this for the Manager to see because those three guys were absolutely working their tails off and deserve a raise! One even had a cast on one hand and he was still cooking and taking orders! I love to see hard work and the guys working on the night of 9/26/2020 we’re doing just that! Well done guys and Again give them a RAISE!!!
Just moved the Waukee area and was excited to have a Pancheros nearby. This location is pretty disappointing though. The staff is apathetic and doesn’t acknowledge your presence until you’ve been standing at the counter for a few minutes, and it’s not like it’s busy, if ever.nnToday was the final straw though. The chicken smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. I kept second guessing myself, thinking “surely not”... but i had my wife give a second opinion and she agreed without hesitation.nnWe’ll be going back to the West Des Moines - Jordan Creek location. Much better service there.
I love Pancheros, but the Waukee location is pretty bad. Hours have been spotty lately. Store is dirty most times I have gone in. You can tell a lot of food items have been out for a long time. Last straw was tonight when I went by and they were out of black and pinto beans, queso, etc. Won’t go back again.
This is the WORST place to carry out or dine in. Their standards are LOW and the way that they treat customers is horrible. They show complte disregard for food safety.
Got a burrito and wasn't pleased. The guy making it gave me not even a half scoop of anything. The young woman working with him was doing good portions and he was giving portions to feed a preschooler. I WILL NOT come back to this location
