My daughter loves this store. Lot of cute stuff and for a good cause

I use to love this store. This was the one place I would go to treat myself once in a while. I decided to break out of my tight budget for my birthday and buy a few things. I used a card that normally carries a lower balance. I was surprised to find a week later they had charged me twice the same amount, 2 days apart. This put that card in the negative. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with that bank trying to fix the situation and avoid any fees. I had left a message for the store. When they finally called back she hadn’t even listened to my message. She said the system was down and they had to manually enter everything in. Over 600 people were double charged. I believe that as a customer there should have been a better system in place to make sure this didn’t happen. We also should have been notified. Instead of offering to rectify the situation I was told I’d get a call back. I never received one and now it’s the weekend. She laughed off the situation and offered an apology for the inconvenience. Inconvenience?! I’m a single mom on a budget and you just stole $120 and now that bank card is inactive and under investigation. I’ve had phone calls and now paper work to fill out. This is a massive inconvenience and recklessness on their end.nUpdate, I do have someone who is polite and apologetic and working to rectify the situation. I still don’t believe that excuses the store manager, the lack of safe guards, I wasn’t notified, or the fact that mine was missed because of how it processed.

Great staff, and lovely store- lots to look at with great prices! The dressing room is so homey I wanted to stay all day. The staff was very helpful and fun in trying on so many dresses. Will definitely be back to visit next time I am in Des Moines!

Shopping with Granddaughter , for a Christian fashion store it has unusual clothes but don't bother looking for anything past size Large, very disappointed. And prices way high. Some cute doggie items, and wall sayings, few Christian books. But store is very sleek and 60-70 dollars for a sweater or top is way high.
