This rating is for his customer service-- I haven't had any work done to a boat yet.nnI used the contact form on his website to explain my problem (small amount of clear water in the gear case of my Evinrude), and asked for a rough estimate on a repair. I already had assumed that it was a seal. He replied within a couple days, gave me his initial diagnosis (need to replace the gearcase seals), the price, and an estimated timeline for getting the boat in for repair.nnYou can't ask for more than that-- quick and easy, and I didn't have to drive to Fulton and interrupt his work, or play phone tag. Although I've since sold that boat as is, I'll definitely contact him for future any repairs on my other boat.
I have been to 5 or 6 other shops/dealers in the area. From Savanna to Rock Island and across the river. Finally found a shop that I can trust to get the work done I need without paying an arm or leg. For those that live in metro QC, it's worth the drive.
Got my motor winterized pretty fast.
