Small whitewater area if that's what your coming for. Nice place to check out the river. Easy to access and has handicap accessible ramp.
The damn is small but deadly.., it's a very good fishing spot quite town some historic places to see and shopping on the main drag. Some good places to eat as well
So great to have a little outdoor adventure in Elkader IA!
The turkey river is a great little stream and the water park sits right in downtown elkader.
Whatever you do don't come to the exact same spot as this picture was taken in the what season or you'll be washed down the river
