King's Pointe Resort

One of the best near-bye getaways from Omaha. Drive two hours to a huge 5 mile lake similar to the ocean, get a room facing it & feel like your at the ocean ud83eudd29 The restaurant had the best food & margarita available. So happy with our short stay. The water resort was closed but a future date may be in the works !

This is a nice place from the parking lot to the room. Friendly staff and our service was quick. The water park is pretty good for its size and right by the lake which is nice. The restaurants food all was good with no issues. We didn’t end up with a room with a view but maybe next time. We got a double and it was clean and orderly at check in. There was no microwave which was kind of let down for food and baby’s bottle.

This place is great. The parking lot is big, check in staff was super helpful and friendly, everything was clean, and the water was warm. We got there early and it was near empty which was great for our 4 kids. The staff was decent in the water area except they were not consistent with treatment. One mother let her kid block the log thing, go both ways and at the same time as smaller kids with no one saying anything yet walking by. I still recommend going. Worth the money and drive.

The location of King's Pointe is unbeatable: right by the lake, beautiful views, lovely trails. There are signs of overdue maintenance all over the resort although the overall impression of the hotel is pretty nice. The staff was disengaged during our last stay. Also, the prices for rooms are as high as in any big city minus the usual perks: breakfast is not included, the water park tickets are extra unless you pay more for the room, no discounts for the water park passes for hotel guests (only for local residents). There is a dock by the resort; it would have been nice if they had some boats / kayaks, etc. for rent... Even though check out is at 12, maintenance staff start cleaning the rooms at 10am and they knocked on our door disturbing us.

A great experience with family. Stayed in the Sunrise Cottage and enjoyed the water parks and boating. The Regatta restaurant was very good.. needed a host for seating..we made reservations in advance!!
