The wife and I made a day trip to Waterloo and as always we were looking to eat at local restaurants. We tried the Balkan Café and it was very enjoyable. The food was very inexpensive for the quality and and quantity, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating to folks unfamiliar with Balkan food. We even had an informative and interesting conversation about how the owners got to Waterloo. We ordered way too much food, but had great snacks on the way back. A nice litte store too, and we picked up several soups and other goodies to take back with us. If I ever go back to Waterloo again I will certainly eat there again.

Great service, great food. This place has a great atmosphere, and the staff is very friendly. The food was delicious and the staff goes over and beyond for their customers. Highly recommend!!

Family owned and operate. So far i had almost everything on the manure and I love it all. I wish I could you you 10 stars.
