I was traveling through and didn't realize they only take cash or check. Mel told me its no big deal, told me to just mail it when I got home. The world needs more Mels! P.S. bacon cheeseburger was damn good. Thanks Mel!

Mel is an amazing person and puts love into every plate that comes out of her kitchen. I recommend her burgers, they are amazing.nnShe also made me pan fried gizzards one day, if that was a menu staple you wouldn't be able to keep me out of there.

We had a fantastic lunch here and well worth the detour from the freeway, and the Deep Fried Snickers was a definite highlight!nnThis was a cozy small town restaurant with plenty of charm. The locals were nice enough even though we displaced their regular seating! Very homey. It might just become a regular stop on our holidays.
