I used to talk highly of T&C, after this pandemic year, I have to say they have shown their true colors. I have had three loan managers on my account in the past two years, the first one did not talk highly of the bank at all and was very happy to leave. After the second loan manager left I was told to keep in contact with the bank manager closest to me till a new manager was assigned to my account. Back story, Covid hit my finances hard, I was offered a new job right before Covid hit, I voluntarily resigned from the job I was at thinking I had a job lined up. The new jobs location was located on the east coast and shut down before my paperwork could be completed and the last thing I heard from that manager was he didn’t know if they would even be around after all was said and done so could no longer offer me a job. So since I voluntarily resigned and the HR hadn’t processed my paperwork so I was not officially employed, I could not qualify for unemployment. It took me a good 1.5-2 months before I was able to find temp work during the pandemic to get me by till I was able to find more permanent work, however trying to get caught up on two months of past due bills while being charged for current months bills pretty much made it where every time I moved a bit forward I fell back again. I also took a paycut with my permanent position so that did not help. So back to somewhat present day, when the second loan officer left and I had to talk to the manager closest to me I had given him the whole situation and we worked out a plan however that plan had to be changed a little because I ended up having to wait for a covid test and missed about a weeks worth of work from both my jobs (I also took up a part time second job to make ends meet), needless to say this was a hit in the finances. I met with the manager once again to go over everything as the loan was going to be a month past due, we agreed that this would just have to happen. So the next week, I all of a sudden have my bank account hit zero because all my money from there one was said to have to go to the loans. What was not mentioned to me was if you have a loan that is past due a month, when the other loan is due there is no grace period so once the next loan is due you are automatically two months behind on your credit score. While i know now this is written in The Who knows how many pages of fine print they have you sign, it’s just kinda sketchy this wasn’t said. Also, the bank manager had said that he would stop the collection accounts from being made because he was making notes in my account and since I was meeting with him and we were on the same page we were all good, well, since the following week I was told all my money would be taken for the past due amount (because I obviously don’t have other bills to pay) that was a loan of crud. When I had spoken to the head manager he had made it sound like it was MY FAULT for the pandemic. They did give me a two month extension, however, think about how long this pandemic has been going on! Two months helps sure, but when you are still trying to catch up on two months of bills while still being charged on the first of every month for new bills, its still not a lot of help. He also had said he didn’t know what I was talking about with the collections because they have a right to take my money anytime. I am now working again with my new loan manager, I am making sure to get everything in writing via email. I will no longer go in to talk face to face unless it is recorded. I really hope I can get one loan paid off and consolidate the other loan with a new bank before this loan manager leaves because I feel like I get told different things. Oh yeah, and now the holiday skip a loan option is available again, HOWEVER, you cannot use it if you used the skip a loans for the pandemic, which again, way to go for making people feel like it was a perk to skip a loan during the pandemic, it was NEEDED! I have also switched my checking account to a new bank. Cannot wait to say good riddance.

We are getting tired of being harassed with phone calls about switching insurance companies. Especially since we notified you people so many times in advance about us switching.nThe only person at this location we would like to give 10+ stars to is Mike Hennebry.

I'm a relatively new member here and have had some miscommunications with the kind folks here. But through these miscommunication, app troubleshooting processes, or online banking mishaps, they have eagerly reached out to me expressing--not only verbally, but also in practice--that they value me as a customer here at this credit union.
