The food is great but they can’t seem to handle a call in order. I’ve placed a pickup order multiple times and I wait just as long as if I wouldn’t have even placed the order beforehand...
I was craving the Capriotti's cheesesteak and ordered through a delivery service. I ordered a large American Wagyu with sweet peppers. I got the large so I could have half for lunch and half for dinner - a treat I was really looking forward to. What was delivered was an overcooked (actually burnt in places) mess that had a smidge of cheese, no onions, no peppers, and mere slivers of mushrooms. I managed to eat just a quarter of this before I couldn't take the over abundance of pepper over dry meat anymore. Truly inedible. I threw the rest away. They got an extra star cuz the bread was good. Totally not worth the price and a complete waste of money. So disappointing. But hey, I got a $5 delivery credit - yay me. They lost a loyal customer with this order.
Steak and cheese is really good
OMG the Impossible Cheesesteak is AMAZEBALLS!!! I have eaten it 4 days in a row now... it's so craveable. The Bobbie with veggie turkey is a close 2nd!!
Just tried calling to place an order "Capriotti's, can you please hold?" "No problem" no response... 15 minute wait.... no sound... call back... phone off the hook.
Last time I ordered from this location I told them specifically what I wanted "...okay do you want tomatoes, onions, lettuce" "No. I want exactly what I told you." "Tomatoes onions lettuce?" "No." Pick it up.... tomatoes onions lettuce.
Trash location. Owner obviously doesn't care.
Pick a different one. I just called the one on Eastern and get an answer and order placed right away without an issue.
