Float time was a lil off
First time here and had a great time. The owners are very nice and helpful. very nice and clean camp ground. Will be back next year.
Wonderful campground on the upper Iowa river. Canoe and kayak rentals available. Nice store to get icecream and ice. Night crawlers available
The gnats were awful. We got a tent site nearest the river tho. Even if you don't stay neatest the river just be prepared. We brought all natural flea and tick spray for our pup and i sprayed it around the campsite which worked pretty good. The property is very, very well kept! The staff and campers in general are so friendly and helpful! I got the feeling that they host alot of regulars because it felt like a little home town. The canoe trip was awesome as it was our dog's perfect, first canoe experience! The river is calm yet basically carries you back the camp on its own. I think I will make this my fall birthday destination.
Great place for camping, swimming, kayaks, tubing, and fishing. Great staff and clean shower rooms. It really is a 5 star campground. Upper Iowa river is my favorite river to kayak. This place is very peaceful and very well kept. My children love being here.
