Powdered eggs... $15 a person...really?
On my way to my table a waitress stood in the way of me walking passed (I'm disabled and walk with a cane) taking the order of another patron 10 or 12 feet away from her instead of only 6. Got coffee but no spoon to stir it with and was never offered a refill. I have never been so disappointed with Ox Yoke in my life. The food was excellent but the service sucked. Sorry old lady waitresses. Maybe it's time to retire.
We've been to Ox Yoke Inn several times and it never disappoints. My husband had the ribeye special which, according to him was perfect. I had a bowl of their soup of the day which was cheddar broccoli and a bowl of fresh fruit. I topped it off with a huge slice of German Chocolate Cake. The cake was to die for. I ended up having to bring half of it home.
Great Local restaurant. Excellent food offerings with my favorite? Pickled Beets! Actually the meatloaf special was very tasty and worth the 11.00 bill. Had lunch with friends and even with correct social distancing practices things went very smoothly. 5 stars for a great lunch.
Food was awesome, but I only wish I could've eaten more. Plenty to take home for later and it's nice to be able to sit down and have a great meal in times like these. I wish for health and safety to all those that make and serve the food. Praying for all.
