Sterling Park Campground

We were going to Camp here for the summer of 2018, however trying to catch the owner-manager sober and having the same story straight for more than a week seems to be evading. We intended to rent a campsite that had one camper on one side and an open view of a pond and Wilderness on the other we were told we could use the campsite and put up sheds and whatever. Then we went to start to make the move, they told us we couldn't use that site. They said we had to use the one next to it. However I had just paid for the this site. It appears that the rules changed overnight. And from what I gather that happens on a regular basis. It is a small quiet park with equally small sites. They have a pool that is non-functional, and the camp is mostly a senior citizens community.nWe asked for a refund and never did set up camp there. I was extremely disappointed. If there was a minus star system on this rating I would give it a -4. Other campers from this Campground. I'm at now tried venturing over there only one lasted half the summer. But they return back to the camp we are at now Holiday Acres Camp Ground.

Loved the place very nice people

I was a long time camper there years ago. We had hard times for awhile and was late on the deposit for the next seasonal space. When I contacted Bruce and Pam they told me it would be 7000 dollars to be paid because of interest. When we went to retrieve the trailer we found out they had broke into it and stole everything we had there. Bruce was nothing but a fat sloppy slob and Pam was nothing but a liar and a money hungry b---h. I am glad they are not there anymore and when we go back to visit we would give the place a chance again with new owners. Hopefully they treat people better than the thieves did.

acutaly this campground is very nice and there are new owners pam and bruce walked away from it and they stoile every ones money and now the new owners are very nice and the rec hall is always open and is always being used there may not be a lot to do there but it looks nice and u cant tell what has been done to it because it has all been done under ground so come on now give it a chance the new owners arnt like pam and bruce at all and they are nice when u get there and they will never stab u in the back so they will al ways be nice to u and thats that. They also dont have alot to do for kids but the pond is filled with fish and frogs and tadpols and turtles and some gees so there is some things to do for the kids down at the pond so they will have fun. Sometimes there is a dj and they are very nice too ask for a song and they will play it they have any sone u want to here or sing to u will have fun those nights but yep thats what i have to say this is an update of this camp on 06/12/2014nThanx for reading itnnxD

Yeah this place is a dump. My sisterm stay there it sucks she never went back
