Nice parking and picnic area. Lots of historical photos of Pomfret Station, and information about the town. The new bridge to extend the Airline Trail is coming along nicely
Besides the construction going on right now the trail is kept up nicely! They just put up some new signs where you need to cross some roads and cleaned up which is nice!nnI visit often with my dog and/or when I'm looking for a nice, easy walk. You can bike here as well. The path is relatively flat and not too bumpy so it is a good alternative to the road.nn(When it rains or in the cooler seasons when the ground is frozen it does get quite muddy!!)
Beautiful day for a bike ride. Went from Hebron to Pomfret & back. Looks like they are building a bridge over the road in Pomfret. Nice! Love this trail!
Top notch gravel grinding. Connects with SNETT in Thompson.
