Visited on 12/31/2019 and the parking is great. Went to go for a bike ride on the trail but unfortunately the river had flooded the trail to Willimantic so we headed towards Manchester instead. This section isn't as improved as some of the parts, most was sandy and quite soft. We stopped and headed back at Hop River Road as it started to sleet pretty heavily. Overall it wasn't a bad experience but the trail isn't as nice as some other sections.
