This was a great little hike, about 1.8 miles if you do all the trails. Very peaceful and quiet. It was a bit overgrown in places, but the trail is well marked. Be sure to check out the huge oak just before you enter the woods. Also be sure to take the red trail, much of it runs along a nice stream. Be prepared for 250 foot gradual descent down to the stream, then back up again for the way out.
This is a nice little loop trail tucked away in between Stafford Springs and Willington. The trail was very easy and well-marked, though sometimes becomes narrow. There is a small parking area off the road at the trailhead. Moderately buggy, but did not encounter any ticks despite the posted signed about it being a tick monitoring area.
