Great work. Great social distancing policies.

After roaming all around the place to find anyone who could replace my broken fuel tank door, i found this place serendipitously and have figured out how nice they are

I came in from out of state and had car trouble. They determined the fault and repaired it, all basically immediately. In addition, the price was really low. Highly recommended!

The staff is very friendly and courteous. However, in terms of fixing my car I am disappointed. My car has had on and off issues not starting. I appreciate that they tried to keep costs down to a minimum but that is perhaps why I am somewhat dissatisfied.nnInitially they just recharged and cleaned the battery terminals, and the car would not start still. Then, they claimed that the alternator was not putting out enough power and had to be replaced. I suspected that something was drawing power from the battery slowly, but they said they checked that and it wasn't the case. I let the car sit for two days, and the same issue...the engine trying to turn over but no start...like something had slowly drained the battery.nnI got a jump start and took my vw to a place in my hometown which found the hood latch was broken/had a malfunctioning sensor drawing power from the battery slowly. They fixed it and I had no more trouble for several weeks...which makes me wonder if the alternator change was really necessary because to me it seems the actual problem was a $150 dollar sensor replacement and not an $800 alternator replacement. While they said that the alternator was outputting much less power than it should have, the fact that they also said nothing was drawing on the battery, when there was makes me wonder if that was true at all, and the alternator didn't need replacing...nnA few weeks later, the starter developed an issue. I turned the key and there was no sounds. Not even clicking. Definitely a different issue, but figured I would take it to D&D again due to their outstanding google reviews. They told me it was a loose wire on the starter, and also replaced a burnt fog light for me (charging only for parts for the light, which I appreciate). Now, 4 days after that fix, the same issue has occurred and I need to wait another 3-5 hours to get towed(I realize that's not D&Ds fault, but it's frustrating nonetheless and could have been prevented if the issue had been properly fixed).nnAll in all, I am quite disappointed in the lack of permanently fixing the issues on my car, and instead having expensive repairs take place only to have the same exact problem pop up a few days after the repair. Which has happened twice now with two different problems.nnTLDR: Friendly people, but I'm very disappointed the quality of their service did not live up to their google reviews for me.
