The experience you have depends on the employee. The store itself is well maintained and organized, some employees are happy and social, some clearly don't want to be there and it shows. To be fair to them, this is a tough area. For every one normal customer they get, they get one that tries to steal or yells at them for things they don't have control of. No one every emphasizes with convenience store employees, but statistically more bad things (shoplifting, robberies, assault, etc) happen in convenience stores than any other subgenre of retail/food service. After years and years of this, very few people can maintain a love for their fellow human beings. Give then the benefit of the doubt, you have no idea the crazy stuff they've seen.

I am an Indian. Sad to say that old Indian guy working at night is very rude. When a lady says that your flush is not working he replies I don't care...

I've watched this over and over. He's even tried to get me to agree with his nonsense at the end too. I've had to let him know too. Avoid at all costs. Kicks out black people left and right for nothing, losing sales outright. And he has no issues with using the n word regularly.

Got showered in gas by a faulty pump guy says don't worry about it, I complain to 7-11 and the same guy a few days later gives me grief about tattling on him...
