Lisbon Tire

Called Lisbon tire on 7/30/20 ask them if they could mount three 5.80-8 tires off a stump grinder, they said yes. The price was ten a tire which was the going rate every were else. I Dropped them off that day. Called later and they said tires weren’t done but would be by Friday. Called Friday early afternoon said tires weren’t done but would try to get them done by end of day but worse case Saturday. No call on Friday about tires and nothing Saturday looked up hours on Saturday and they are closed on weekends according to there listing. Called Monday tires were done. Sent someone to pick them up and pay for them. The charge was $63.00 without tire disposal. I asked why was it so much and was told because they had to be mounted manually do to the rims and spacer welded to them. Asked why wasn’t I told that when they were dropped off or when I called several times. No answer was give but I was told I could speak to the person who was the associate working the counter who I spoke to originally. I asked who owned the shop or ran the shop and was told the person I was speaking with was that person. I asked if you run the shop and I have a problem why am I speaking to someone else. His response was because he didn’t know what was said to me. I was told I could call back in twenty minutes when they returned. The balance was paid. Call back.. why... if the person who runs the shop doesn’t care enough to work with the customer to resolve a problem to have a satisfied customer then what is a counter associate going to do. Will not have work done by them again and I live in the town.

My brother had his new to him vehicle serviced here and when he picked it up the next day he noticed damage that was not there when he dropped it off (have pictures of before and after) Mario (the owner) has so far taken no responsibility for the vehicle being damaged while in his possession. Have been trying to speak with Mario for three days now hoping to resolve the situation and he will not return my calls.nnWas hoping to resolve this simply but it seems I will have to be making a complaint with BBB and the CT Attorney General.nnNot sure how a business can have possession of your property and damage said property regardless of how it happened and not even try to make it right with the customer.nnSad we were recommended here and the work was performed as promised for a reasonable price just to have the vehicle damaged.
