Norwich Tax Collector

Holy 360 degree change !!! I called after hours on Monday (was a holiday) left a v.m. and an extremely nice AND helpful lady called me back at 8:30 ish the next day !! She took care of my transaction and cleared me from dmv right on the phone!! No wait at all which made me very happy because that ment I could drive my new car home that night not wait a week or longer like it used to be like !! She was absolutely amazing !! (I'm sorry I do not remember her name I really wish I could so I can give her personally the credit !! I'm sorry ud83dude25)

Called on a Friday during business hours. No one answered. Left a message with my contact info and subject. No response. Called back several times. No response.nnTypical Norwich public services. Useless.

Horrible place .... highest taxes in the state and the city is ruined down yet the tax collectors office is always quick to issue a lean or foreclose on a house .. people work hard to own their own homes and they come in and take it bc someone falls behind on taxes ...the same taxes that aren't used on the road that I live on .. my house copper was all stolen and tools taken thankyou norwich police for harassing drivers instead of stopping criminals from breaking into houses ... tax money well spent( but their cars are really nice!) School system hahahaha dont even get me started also if you are renovating your home because someone stole all the copper out of your house and have to stay with a relative dont send your kids to the school you pay taxes for cause it isnt aloud they have to rest their heads in a house with no plumbing or wiring or police protection on a road with pot holes big enough to break the axle on the car you get over taxed on in order to attend the mediocre ill funded elementary schools we pay dollar for.. just saying. I really wish fellow residents would stand up and say enough is enough ... if we as home owners dont stick together then we all will just keep losing!!! We deserve better people that have worked hard and paid off their homes should have to worry about losing their home because of a bad year or 2 that's life but what does that say when ppl know even if u work hard ur whole life and you do everything your supposed to a bad couple of years can mean you lose everything !! Anyway tax collectors office is 1 star bc it doesn't go lower

They don't give change and the fee when paying with a credit card is too high.
