Good small looping trail, a semi-clear.pond and little bit of wildlife (fish, frogs and turtle). Good for evening stroll. No signs of fort shantok though, actual parking is further ahead than what google says.

Peaceful nice walk in early fall. Short loop.

Love walking in the woods down here, so peaceful and serene. I try to go at least once a month, weather permitting, and can remember coming here on school field trips at least once as a child.nnGetting down to the water’s edge can be a bit tricky in spots, but it’s definitely possible as my photos prove, even if you’re a bit “hefty” like me. ud83dude48ud83dude02ud83dudcaaud83cudffbud83dudc4dud83cudffbud83eudd18ud83cudffb

This little pearl boasts a serene grove of trees, a small lake, and a forest trail among other things. It is always clean and tidy despite the many events and popularity. The lake is stocked and can be fished for small bass and pumpkin seeds. There is also a great playground for kids ages 3- 15+.
