This uphill hiking path isn’t long - less than a mile or so - but the rest/observation area overlooking Mystic River makes this a great destination if you have a half hour to kill. The Peace Sanctuary is well maintained, and sparsely busy. Bring a book or a sandwich to help you unwind...can’t beat the view while overlooking Mystic Seaport from across the water!
Nice fall walk. Parking along road. Some nice views accross to Mystic Seaport.
We were really looking forward to going here but didn't know where to park. When we finally found a spot and started walking, there were no trespassing signs all over the place.
