Clean, easy to launch a kayak. Plenty of parking.
This is a nice Y and I am sure plays an important role in the community. However, I took part in their Turkey Trot fun run today with my kids and it was a disaster, and completely unsafe.nnHolding a run as a fundraiser carries significant responsibility, and the Y seemed completely unprepared. They either had far more runners than expected, or just did not react to the number of registrations. The poor volunteers were clearly overwhelmed and it was mass confusion.nnThe 1 star here though is because the route was poorly marked and completely unsafe for children. Cars were driving through the race and there were no sidewalks for most of the route. Signed up for the one mile run, and there was no sign for the half mile turn around. Once we realized we’d gone too far, had to make my kids walk back because of the cars.nnThis event should not be repeated, and in any regard children should not be permitted to register; someone is going to get hit by a car. Never seen anything like it.

Amazing teen Room to entertain your kids in between swimming sessions and cool place to hang out as well as a room for younger kids up to 8
