Family Dollar

Great prices just a really messy store, bought a thing you can freeze and put in lunchboxes and when I opened the Pckage it was full of black mold, grossest thing ever. But prices are great and they have a wide variety of name brand items.

Cashier was very polite and helpful.

Literally the rudest employees in the country. It's almost funny it's so blatant. If I was perhaps Latino they would be nicer. I've noticed that at there new london ct. Location. Smh

First, I had let a sales associate know about a spill in the end aisle on the floor. She was very snotty and made no effort to respond other than sighing huffing and puffing as well as rolling her eyes at me and my friend. She made no move to ask someone to clean it up nor did she either. When we got up to the register, the associate ringing us up was snotty as well. She was upset when I questioned the price of the detergent advertised in the flyer. It was supposed to be$1.95 on sale. When I asked why it rang up at a higher price, I was told it was an online coupon. I wasn't aware of this and I wasn't able to get the coupon at that moment. I let her know that I didn't want the detergent until I could come in with my coupon. She seemed annoyed but said ok. She put the detergent behind the counter and we cashed out. Last night when I got home, I unpacked and checked the receipt, I noticed that the detergent was still on the receipt and I had paid for it. I proceeded to call the store and got a voicemail recording that said to try back there were no associate's available. I called twice more and three times today. Each time reaching voicemail to call back. I'm so upset and angry. Now I need to physically go there and speak with a manager to get my money back. I'm not impressed with this Family Dollar location!!!! I will only shop there out of desperation again!!!

This store and this woman that works as a cashier has poor customer service the woman acted like she didn't want to ring up a line of paying customers and has the nerve to not smile and slam items in shopping bags for customers
