Nice knowledgeable guys. My truck shifts like new!

I needed transmission work, my mechanic referred me to Joel at Stop & Go. I fully expected to replace the transmission, it has 250,000 miles on it. Stop & Go not only replaced only the part it needed and serviced the transmission (at half the cost I expected ud83dude01) but Joel also set me up with a rental, we were in and out in 20 mins. The car was ready when promised and the problem is gone. I highly recommend Stop & Go, Groton. Helpful, friendly and honest people. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

First off, I read up a ton on a couple different places, and this place had a couple bad reviews, someone saying he takes in too many cars to work on, some saying that he charged 300 dollars to look At and wouldn’t release the car, I’ve read some different reviews here and there. Why these happened I don’t know. But rest assured if your thinking of going to this place, GO. Joel was awesome. These reviews I’ve seen don’t do it justice.nnI have a 2012 Chevy Silverado Red, and the transmission was going out in it, truck Has almost 200,000 miles on it, I knew something was going to go, anyways, I took it to Chevy dealership which they told me, oh you’ll spend more money rebuilding it then just replacing it, Chevy wanted almost 6000 dollars for a replacement. Sure enough I spoke to Joel. He told me to bring it down Friday, and either would call me same day or call me mid monday(as they are not opened sat-sun) after letting me know what was actually wrong with it. Sure enough Joel’s calling me Monday, and what I loved was he is straight forward about it with any issues, he told me exactly what was wrong with the transmission and that a rebuild would be best solution. I dropped my truck off Friday, April 10th, full rebuild kit and installed labor was 2800! AND he had it DONE within a week. I picked it up today and the thing runs smoother then when I bought the damn truck! Best part was, he initially said he’s charge me 100 bucks to look at it, and would apply it to the bill as long as I got the repair done with him. Which he did. I’m very excited to have my truck back, and Joel and his team did an awesome job with my truck.nnThank you again Joel, anything big I need with my truck again, I will absolutely be coming to you.
