Profoundly disappointed. Not a firm that I would ever again trust with my families wellbeing. Attorney Ghidini should be ashamed of who he is as a lawyer and of who he is as a human being.

John J Ghidini was a beacon of hope to my daughter and I at a time when our options seemed limited. He worked very hard to bring beyond satisfactory results and to help bring my daughter home. If it weren't for him, I don't know if I would've ever gotten my child back. I highly recommend him and his legal advice is extremely helpful... he's very knowledgeable and knows exactly what he's doing especially in cases against dcf. I am so thankful and certainly glad I hired him as my attorney.

Worst lawyer ever unprofessional rude and racist. Contracted through the state of Connecticut to do whatever they want. Does not fight for your kids. This man has a chip on his shoulder and did not want to work with my family I believe it’s because we are African American. No good lawyer is getting paid by the state. The entire firm he works with are contracted through the state and they are 100% loyal to the state. GKL law is the firm in Cheshire CT. If they appoint this firm in court ask for someone else because they will make u comply with DCF no matter what the evidence is.

Horrible lawyer totally advocates for DCF. He represented my child and sat and looked up nonsense on his iPad and messaged people the entire trial. I never met him before trial and he never introduced himself to me or my husband. His firm gets paid through the state of Connecticut so don’t be deceived. He is fully committed to giving DCF their wishes even if it means totally destroying a family. He is very arrogant and has an angry demeanor. He went as far as to swear at me and my husband when the trial was over. You have to understand and ask these attorneys are they contracted through the state of Connecticut and if they are... RUN! The attorneys paid through the state do what the state wants, the state pays them for that very reason... no case no pay... the longer they can drag out your court issues the longer they are employed. If they get services placed on you or your child placed somewhere chances are you will still be going to court until you complete whatever they ask or until they place your child somewhere... then there’s always court dates to “check the status “ or “update the file” , again more court dates more pay. Use your discretion but I can say from experience this lawyer is all for DCF do not be deceived.
