Nice cozy cafè with outdoor seating with strict social distancing rules. Ordered a “The Hearty” breakfast sandwich along with other pastries and coffee for a reasonable price. Customer service was good. Coffee was too bitter and had a Burnt taste to it, had to request more milk in order to help it taste better. Other than that, I would come back again and would recommend getting food and good treats here.
Coffee tasted pretty burned. Ordered a black coffee and an iced coffee without cream or sugar and both had a burned taste and were almost undrinkable. Black coffee also had a slight chemical aftertaste.nBagel was pretty ok, nothing to write home about.nI would have given two stars because I was at least able to consume the coffee and didn't die, but their policy where no one can use the bathroom is completely unreasonable. We traveled with a toddler who needed to go, and I get that they have a policy to avoid COVID-19 exposure but if a 3 year old needs to go, it's an exception worth making.
The first clue should have been the couple in front of me ordering at minimum 2 sugars and 3 creamers in their coffee. My black coffee arrived with a distinct burnt flavor, and lacking in any drinkable qualities. My only hope is that the plants I dumped it on won't fall ill.
Absolutely a great place. Latte was excellent as was my iced banana bread
A great little outdoors type cafe to sit with friends for a cup of coffee or snack while on a 2 mile walk thru the neighborhood.
