Saw a herd of about 15 bison crossing the road. 2 other bison in another area of the reserve. Prairie dog town was fun to see. Most unafraid bunch we've ever seen. 2 white pelicans and 4 Canadian geese in the pond at the entrance to the reserve. Huge concentration of dragon flies in the forest. No elk.
Walked the trails. Beautiful views. So peaceful. Got caught in the rain but that didnt even camper our time there. Wish at least one restroom woukd have been open tho.
Great walking trails and Auto tour. Bison are sometimes right next to your car
Beautiful sunny day. Good day to enjoy nature and a hike
