I just moved here to CT from NYC this September and came across this gem of a coffee shop. Definitely gives me a taste of home every time I come in. Coffee is brewed to perfection, amazing assortment of pastries from Spanish to American culture. Staff is exceptional, warm and very inviting. Extremely spacious, whether you’d like to hold a conference, a small business meeting, or just have a coffee date. There is more than enough space. Management is delightful and make great conversation! Location is amazing there isn’t another coffee shop for miles! This was a great addition to downtown Waterbury and I can’t wait until my next visit! Iced lattes, lightly toasted everything croissants, and spinach bagels are favorite! Where do I start, this place is heavenly and such a great place! The atmosphere is delightful and the service is outstanding. This is what we need to enjoy ourselves and feel welcome! My words cannot express the joy and happiness I encountered. Please go and see for yourself the exquisite lattes and chocolate croissants.

I love this cafe! It’s right by my job which makes it very convenient for me and always has great lattes and bagels. I definitely would recommend for anyone in the area to come try it out!

A much needed cafe in the historic district of Bank Street, Spirit provides more than just a place to charge your phone. With an excellent selection of espresso's as well as creative tasty holiday drinks, you are sure to warm your heart and soul at this little cafe. With an enthusiastic staff, and modern decor, Spirit cafe is your new go to place for a coffee, snack and great conversation. I plan on picking up an espresso from Spirit Cafe every chance I can when I'm in Waterbury.

Lots of seating available here which is always a plus for me! Every table has a charging station which is great for phones and laptops too. Their specialty lattes are great and they had dairy alternatives too. I recommend their cheese flan and Vanilla Latte with coconut milk!
