I had a 10 out of 10 experience at Southbury Self Storage. Most storage companies don’t care about their customers at all - you are just a unit and a monthly payment to them - but I had such an incredible experience here that I had to share this little known secret of a storage company to those lucky enough to read this. When I moved furniture in and out of my storage unit, I had to do it outside of normal business hours for logistical reasons. I was personally met by the owner, Rob, to let me in and had the most professional experience each time. The sign up was online and easy, the building was clean, the payment and cancellation all worked perfectly. This company is seriously well run. One of the times I needed access, I even forgot to reach out until the night before to see if I could enter the building early the next morning. My wife was yelling at me that I was going to screw up our whole move by forgetting to schedule early access to pick up our furniture, but I emailed their website at 9 pm, heard back immediately, and was able to be let into the building at 8 am the next morning without any issues. Incredible! Happy wife, happy life!
Very clean and you couldn't ask for nicer ppl to rent from!
